MVCARDS · Credit Card Management System

Launch a card programme
your bank owns end to end

MVCARDS runs the whole credit card business — product design, applications and underwriting, card lifecycle, billing, EMI, disputes, rewards and a double-entry ledger — beside the core banking system you already have. Bank staff, cardholders and platform operators each get their own portal, built on one set of services.

01 · What is MVCARDS

The card business, as a system — not a set of bolt-ons

Most banks run cards on a processor's back office plus a dozen spreadsheets and a vendor queue for every product change. MVCARDS puts the whole lifecycle, from a product idea to a settled, reconciled transaction, in one place that your teams control.

Bank staff

Admin Portal

The back office: dashboard, customers and applications, cards, transactions and statements, products, credit and disputes, financials, operations, administration and security. Ten sections, every one permission-gated.

72 screens · live

Cardholders

Customer Portal

Apply for a card, get a virtual card, activate a physical one, see spend, convert purchases to EMI, pay the bill, raise a dispute, track rewards — on web and mobile, with the bank's branding.

28 screens · live

Platform operators

Platform Portal

The control plane above every bank: tenants, legal entities, identity, configuration parameters with effective dates, feature flags with kill switches, and reference data. Built for groups, BaaS providers and multi-entity banks.

19 screens · live

Built for Indian issuing from day one: INR and GST handling, PAN and Aadhaar document capture in the application, NEFT / IMPS / UPI repayment channels, and EMI conversion as a first-class product capability — with multi-currency and FX for cross-border spend.

02 · Why it is best in class

Six things a CEO should ask any card platform. MVCARDS answers all six.

Products are configuration, with governance

A product wizard covers eligibility, limits, billing, interest, pricing and FX, fees, rewards, instalments, controls, collections, statements and GL mapping. Every version is immutable; changes go simulate → submit → approve (four-eyes) → publish. Launch a new card in days, not a vendor release cycle.

Every decision is evidenced and replayable

Credit decisions show rule-by-rule results, score factors and the limit arithmetic, and can be replayed to prove the stored outcome reproduces. Underwriting policies and scorecards are versioned, never edited in place. Your regulator and your auditors see the same evidence your risk team does.

A real ledger, reconciled every day

Double-entry journals behind every transaction, fee, interest and payment; P&L, revenue with GST, balance position, FX exposure and ledger invariant checks on screen. Settlement reconciliation walks the full chain — card → transaction → authorisation → capture → settlement → journal — and exceptions are resolved with a recorded decision.

Security built into the way people work

Keycloak-based single sign-on with MFA; step-up re-authentication for sensitive actions; role-based access on every route and button; separation of duties enforced in the UI (a product maker cannot approve their own submission; KYC decisions need a separate permission); service-credential rotation and emergency revoke with a full audit trail.

Multi-tenant from the ground up

A platform portal provisions tenants, legal entities, identity, entitlements, typed configuration with effective-from dates and roll-back, and feature flags with targeting rules and kill switches. One deployment can serve a banking group, a BaaS programme or several brands.

Cardholders serve themselves

Nine-step application with KYC upload and saved drafts; offer acceptance; virtual card on approval; activation and PIN; spend analytics; EMI conversion with dry-run quotes; statement download; pay by NEFT, IMPS or UPI; disputes with evidence upload; reward history. Fewer calls to your contact centre.

05 · Works beside your core

Temenos today, MVCORE tomorrow — or both

MVCARDS is the system of record for the card business: products, applications, card accounts, authorisations, billing and the card ledger. Your core remains the system of record for customers, deposits and the bank's general ledger. The two meet at well-defined points.

Three ways to deploy

Beside Temenos or another core

MVCARDS runs the card business end to end; the core keeps CIF, deposits, rails and the bank GL. Integration is a defined set of APIs and a daily GL feed. Typical go-live 16–24 weeks after processor and BIN are in place.

Native on MVCORE

Shared customer, identity, ledger and GRC services; no mapping layer and one audit trail. The fastest route for new digital banks and NBFCs.

Staged migration

Start beside the incumbent core, then move product lines across to MVCORE at your own pace, with every stage reversible.
